After nine months as executive director and CEO of Jewish Family Services (JFS), Kelly Davydov announced her plan to exit the organization at the end of July.

In her tenure, Davydov worked to strengthen JFS’ internal operations, assess community needs and strategically plan for the organization’s future growth and sustainability. Davydov’s predecessor, Don Goldman, retired from JFS last October following 16 years of service.

“Change can be hard, and there’s certainly been some within the last year or so,” said Jeff Stolper, president of JFS Board of Directors. “But there is one thing that remains constant: our commitment to serving the community with the same excellence, compassion and innovation that have been the hallmarks of JFS for over 120 years.”

The board is in the process of solidifying arrangements for an interim leader who will carry forward Davydov’s initiatives until a permanent replacement is named.

“Kelly has been a thoughtful, caring and strategic leader,” Stolper said. “Her support through this transition ensures that staff can continue their work with confidence, knowing we are all focused on one thing: being that source of stability and help for our clients. That’s what’s most important.”
