Judy Jacks Berman will be honored with “Somewhere Over Judy’s Rainbow,” a celebration of her 30-year career as director of Congregation Beth Shalom’s Rose Family Early Childhood Education Center.
The party will be held on Monday, June 10, at 5 p.m. at the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center (8788 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66212). The event is open to all ages — current preschool students to graduates, parents, grandparents, teachers and friends. All are welcome to celebrate Berman, often called “Miss Judy.”
Registration is available online at bethshalomkc.org.
Beth Shalom staff call Berman “a master of her trade” who leads by example, and “her kindness is felt by everyone who walks through the double doorway into the Education Center. It all starts with ‘a kiss on the keppe’ and continues with the warmest, safest space in which to grow.”
