Congregation Kol Ami is searching for a part-time music director.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Jewish values and will nurture the congregation’s music program. This person should be able to sing and lead others in singing with an expressed knowledge of Jewish music. The ability to play an accompanying instrument like guitar or keyboard is ideal.
Kol Ami congregants and clergy consider songs and instruments the heart of their spiritual and ritual expression. The focus on congregational singing is intended to empower everyone to share music as a pathway to Jewish worship, and they work to encourage and nurture the talents of their musicians and singers with opportunities for participation.
