Jewish Life Television (JLTV), a nationwide Jewish-themed television network, has been added to Spectrum’s channel lineup in the Greater Kansas City area.
Spectrum customers can watch JLTV on channel 242 or 469.
JLTV both produces original content (including “Air Land & Sea,” “Bubbies Know Best” and “Generations”) and runs acquired programs (including “Fauda,” “Prisoners of War” and “Servant of the People”). Programming genres include children’s shows, cooking, classics, comedy, drama, exercise, history, lifestyle, news and talk, travel and more.
“We thank Spectrum for adding JLTV to its channel lineup in Greater Kansas City,” JLTV Executive Vice President Brad Pomerance said. “Spectrum is demonstrating its support for diverse voices by providing their massive platform to amplify engaging, entertaining, and informative content by and about the Jewish community.”
Spectrum currently offers JLTV in 19 states and is in the process of expanding JLTV coverage nationwide. Kansas and Missouri are two of the states being added to JLTV’s coverage in August.
“Charter Communications recently opened a 'Spectrum Retention Center' in the heart of my district in Overland Park,” Kansas State Representative Dan Osman (D-48) said. “Now they're adding Jewish Life Television to its channel lineup in Johnson County. I salute Spectrum for these twin efforts in support of Greater Kansas City and our ever-growing diverse community."
