JFS is hosting a free Screen Sanity Summit in which attendees can take part in face-to-face conversation, connect with others to educate, empower, and evaluate your family's technology use, or attend virtually.
“This is for parents with children of any age who want to feel more empowered over their children's safety and use of electronics, computers, and cellphones,” said Jodi Perelmuter, JFS family life educator. “Come explore ideas, discuss with other parents, and gain valuable access to information.”
The three-part series will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in the MAC Room at the Jewish Community Campus, 5801 W. 115th St., Overland Park, KS 66211. The series schedule and topics include: “Past, Present, & Where to Start?” (May 16), “Device-Free Zones & Accountability” (May 23) and “Ride, Practice, Drive & Valuing” (May 30).
Those interested can attend one or all of the sessions. Participants should register at bit.ly/JFSScreenSanitySummit.
More information about the summit is available by contacting Perelmuter at or (913) 327-8259.
