Spencer Schere will be installed on Sunday, March 26 as the new chairman of Friends of Sheffield Cemetery.
The event will take place in the chapel at 2:00 pm at the cemetery located at 6200 Wilson, Kansas City, Missouri.
The executive committee includes: chair-elect Barbara Stras, Judy Lanes, Dion Lutz and Elisa Pener.
Also honored will be Rickie Haith, founder and chairman from 2003-2023.
Featured speakers include Rabbi Mark Glass of Beth Israel Abraham & Voliner and Lauren Hoopes, Jewish Community Foundation Executive Director and installing officer.
The community is welcome to attend and see the pillar plaque that so many contributed to.
