Jewish Family Services’ Priya program will host an online discussion about the future of women’s health from the Jewish perspective at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20.
The program is sponsored by JFS, Priya, Congregation Beth Torah, and the National Council of Jewish Women.
A panel of experts will discuss fertility treatment, women’s healthcare and rights in the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned. Hear the perspectives of a local physician, a reproductive rights lawyer, a rabbi and a past Priya client.
“The more knowledge we have, the more informed decisions we can make for our health and community,” said Molly Hess, Priya Program Manager. “A lot is at stake for many families in our community. Priya aims to support all people on their family building journey, whatever their choices may be.”
This virtual program will be moderated by Hess. Panelists include:
- Christina Miller, J.D. – Attorney Managing Member of Reproductive Family Law Center
- Rabbi Monica Kleinman – Director of Lifelong Learning at Congregation Beth Torah
- Lindsey Lipsky – Sasone Program Director and Priya grant recipient
- Dr. Bret Gordon, D.O. Obstetrics and Gynecology
Registration is required to attend the virtual program. Those interested can visit jfskc.org/womens-health-panel/ to register; once registered, they will receive a link to join the program.
