The Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA) has endorsed U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who represents Kansas' Third Congressional District in Congress, for re-election.
JDCA endorses leaders who have demonstrated their commitment to the priorities of the majority of Jewish voters, including the importance of defending democracy.
"In the face of rising antisemitism and extremism, Rep. Davids has been an unwavering ally to the Jewish community,” said Samuel J. Crystal, JDCA spokesperson. “From defending our democracy to protecting our planet, she is a champion for the issues Jewish voters care about most. We're proud to support her and get out the Jewish vote in KS-03."
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Jewish Democratic Council of America and I promise to continue fighting against antisemitism and for democracy,” Rep. Davids said. “I look forward to continuing to make progress on the issues that matter most to the Jewish community in Kansas and beyond.”
“(JDCA is) proud to support candidates who are both pro-Israel and pro-democracy, and we unequivocally reject the false choice that Jewish voters have to choose between the two,” said JDCA CEO Halie Soifer.
