Jewish Family Services is providing Passover meal kits in time for the first night of Passover at sundown on April 15.
JFS is looking for donations in the amount of $36, which will help underwrite the cost of a prepared meal and items for someone’s Passover Seder.
Recipients will receive prepared meals or Passover meal kits with a chicken in time for the holiday. Donations can be made online at www.jfskc.org or by sending a check to JFS’ Campus office, 5801 W. 115th St., Suite 103, Overland Park, KS 66211. For checks, donors must put “Passover Meals” in the memo line.
JFS is still seeking donations of kosher-for-Passover foods through April 1, including matzah ball soup mix, grape juice, matzah, macaroons, and kosher-for-Passover dessert mixes. Donations can be dropped off in designated JFS food barrels in the lobby of the Jewish Community Campus, 5801 W. 115th Street in Overland Park.
