Jewish Family Services Kesher KC is one of three charity recipients of proceeds from this year’s Kappa Kappa Game Holiday Homes Tour and Boutique scheduled for Dec. 7-9.
Kesher KC is centered around JFS’ food pantry and connects people to other agency services including counseling, care management, older adult support, and help with financial and housing insecurity.
This is the 70th year for the tour that features four homes in the metro decked out for the holiday season. The homes are partnered with a local floral designer to decorate the houses for the holidays. Information about JFS’ services will be available at each home.
JFS’s Kesher program was chosen because they provide wrap-around support services for clients all under one roof. Kesher KC not only provides a client with their immediate needs but also empowers them towards a more secure future.
Stop on the tour include:
- Modern French Country, 2901 W. 68th Mission Hills, KS (designed by Wild Hill Flowers)
- Regional Modernism, 5304 Belleview Ave, Kansas City, MO (homeowner designed)
- Tudor Revival, 10 Dunford Circle, Kansas City, MO (designed by Studio Dan Meiners)
- 6535 Wenonga Terrace, Mission Hills, KS (designed by Craig Sole Designs)
In addition to the homes, the Kappa Holiday Boutique will be held simultaneously at the 1900 Building, 1900 Shawnee Mission Parkway. The boutique includes a large selection of specialty items for sale including candles, apparel, holiday décor, and edible treats.
