Jewish Family Services will host its annual Friends of the Family event at noon on August 26. This year’s event will be virtual with table hosts inviting their family, friends, and colleagues to watch the online event and learn more about the important work JFS does in our community.

This 30-minute, free event introduces JFS to new supporters, including community and corporate partners and updates steadfast supporters about recent accomplishments, new partnerships and initiatives, and other goals of the organization.

Nick Haines, Kansas City PBS executive producer of public affairs, will celebrate his 10th year hosting the Friends of the Family event. Ryan Lefebvre, announcer for the Kansas City Royals and author of “The Shame of Me: One Man’s Journey to Depression and Back,” is the featured guest.
