Jewish Vocational Service Career Skills and Connections is excited to announce its new virtual coffee club. The first event will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on June 7.
The club is a free event where attendees will have opportunities for networking, connecting with guest speakers, learning from industry leaders and hearing educational content focused on best practices to increase marketability.
The June 7 topic is “HR Recruitment 101,” and will feature speakers Adidja Suleman, director of physician recruitment and retention for St. Luke’s Health System; Bret Fischer, senior director of talent acquisition for Netsmart; and Kajuan Cummings, assistant principal at Hogan Preparatory Academy.
The Coffee Club is open to anyone who is interested. You don’t need to be a current client of Career Skills and Connections, but it is a great opportunity to learn more about the program.
Jewish Vocational Service engages, encourages, and empowers people to achieve social, cultural, and economic integration, through community integration, health and wellness and workforce development programs. Career Skills and Connections offers one-on-one services to local job seekers, helping them market themselves to land their next opportunity.
