During SevenDays 2021 Make A Ripple Change the World, the Others Day program was dedicated to exploring the stories of others to gain more knowledge and understanding. This year’s feature speaker, Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish shared his story of resilience after three of his daughters and a niece were killed during the 2009 Gaza War.
Dr. Abuelaish, a Palestinian Canadian physician, created the Daughters for Life Foundation advancing health and educational opportunities for women and girls in the Middle East.
In addition to Dr. Abuelaish, other participants in the SevenDays program included: (from left) Haley Harrison, KMBC Channel 9 reporter and anchor; the Rev.
