Mitchell Schwartz, the Jewish former Kansas City Chiefs right tackle, recently said in an interview with 610 radio that he wouldn’t be opposed to playing with the Chiefs again.

“I would obviously entertain coming back here,’ he told host Carrington Harrison. “For the short term, I just want to get healthy.”

Schwartz, 31, was released from the team in March and is currently recovering from a back injury. He helped the Chiefs win their first Super Bowl in 50 years during the 2019 season, but only played six games last season.

Coach Andy Reid also isn’t ruling out Schwartz’s return, telling reporters last month “You never know. What goes around could come back around to you... that door always remains open...”
