The White Theatre at The J will celebrate its 15th anniversary season with Best of Broadway, a virtual benefit concert, at 7 p.m. on May 15. The concert will feature performances from some of the finest local stars and best Broadway shows held on The White Theatre stage over its 15 seasons. The concert is free, however, donations to benefit The J’s Arts + Culture programs are welcome.
“While our 15th anniversary season looked nothing like we thought it would due to the pandemic, we are grateful to all the supporters and patrons of The White Theatre during this difficult time and over our 15 seasons in providing the best in community entertainment,” said Keith Wiedenkeller, director of Arts + Culture at The J. “This benefit concert is a tribute to all of you.”
The performances will be pre-recorded and available to watch on demand. The show will feature some of the brightest stars of the White Theatre stage, like Jennifer Renfrow, Robert Hingula, and many more, singing some of your (and their) favorites tunes from some of The White Theatre’s most popular shows, including Shrek, Cabaret, Mary Poppins, Once on This Island, Les Miserables, Newsies, and much more.
