The application deadline for Leadership Tomorrow, Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City’s paid summer internship program, has been extended to Sunday, Feb. 12.
Jewish college students are encouraged to apply for this opportunity. Leadership Tomorrow places interns in top-rated organizations in Kansas City’s non-profit community. Interns can earn up to $3,300 working in a variety of fields, including fundraising, public affairs, strategic planning, project management and more.
Leadership Tomorrow offers students the opportunity to:
- Network with other Jewish college students
- Receive 1-on-1 mentoring from community leaders and professionals
- Gain valuable, real-world work experience
In addition to their internship placements, the interns will work in groups to research, construct and present a grant proposal for a selected Kansas City non-profit. Last year, generous donors provided $15,000 to be distributed to the three selected non-profits; the amount of money received by each was influenced by the quality of the presentations.
