Hadassah Great Plains, in conjunction with Hadassah Greater Kansas City, will host a luncheon and forum, “Facing Antisemitism: From Classrooms to Communities,” on Sunday, July 20, from 11:30 a.m to 2 p.m. Location will be provided only upon registration.

This program is designed to educate and help attendees respectfully respond to antisemitism. The forum aims to provide attendees insight and awareness of the many faces of antisemitic issues, including what is happening in schools K-12, colleges, social media and communities. A creative activity that offers interactive tools to respond to incidents in all types of environments will also be held.

Featured guest panelists are Diana Diner, Zionist educator of Hadassah’s Education and Advocacy Division; Samantha Von Ende, a recognized expert and frequent speaker on modern antisemitism, Zionism and the Israeli political system; and Rachel Kaseff, programs and development coordinator of the Jewish Community Relations Bureau | American Jewish Committee. The forum will end with a stress-reduction exercise led by local mentor and educator of Jewish Healthy Living-Your Body-Your Temple, Remi Haik.
