Longtime Starlight Theatre supporters and community advocates Howard and Ro Jacobson will be honored with the prestigious 2017 Star Award at the 31st Annual Starlight Theatre Gala on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Starlight Theatre.

The governing body of Park University — its board of trustees — has elected four individuals to serve as members of the Board. Vince Clark, Anthony Melchiorri, Cyprienne Simchowitz, J.D., and Troy Teague were all elected to serve their first three-year term on the board, effective July 1.
