She attended the University of Kansas, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management, with a concentration in entrepreneurship. She was president of the KU Equestrian team and a member of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. She is currently employed as an account manager for Zillner in Lenexa.
The future groom is the grandson of Charlene and the late Allen Hecht and the late Morris and Sadie Singer. He attended the University of Kansas, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He is currently employed as product manager for Balance Innovations in Lenexa.
A small October 2013 wedding is planned at an outdoor venue in southern Overland Park.
Marge and Howard Novorr will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 14. They were married at The President Hotel by Rabbi Samuel Mayerberg in 1942.
Their family comprises three children, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
