She earned a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology from Tufts University and her juris doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law. She is employed as an attorney with the Dorsey & Whitney law firm in Minneapolis.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Marsha and Jules Goldman of Kansas City, Mo., the late Dorothy Bodker of Prairie Village and Stanley and Barbie Bodker of Phoenix. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Southern California and is a candidate for a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Minnesota and is employed as a psychology intern at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System.
An April 21 wedding is planned at Bet Shalom Congregation in Minnetonka, Minn.
Lesley Covitz Fulton and Matthew Fulton of New York City announce the birth July 4 of their son, Riley Sylvester Fulton. Grandparents are Mary Covitz and the late Ricky Covitz of Overland Park and Geraldine Fulton of Mentor, Ohio. At his Brit Milah, Riley was given the Hebrew name of Yitzchak Yaakov, honoring his grandfather Ricky Covitz, of blessed memory.

She is currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in Philadelphia.
The future groom is the grandson of Dorothy Kaplan and the late Paul Kaplan and the late Celia and Albert Levin. He attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in economics, magna cum laude. He is currently a student at Harvard Business School in Boston and will return to Bain Capital in Boston following graduation.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Norman and Rochelle Kramer and the late Gloria Kramer and the late Rose and Hyman Schwartz. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry, and the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning her doctorate of pharmacy graduating with honors. She is currently a clinical pharmacist at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago.
The future groom is the grandson of Dorothy Kaplan and the late Paul Kaplan and the late Celia and Albert Levin. He attended the University of Kansas Business School, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and Chicago-Kent College of Law, earning his juris doctor graduating with high honors. He was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He is currently an associate at a Chicago law firm.
An Oct. 22 wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago is planned.
The congregation of Ohev Sholom is invited to share the 100th birthday of Anne Deutch at the 6:30 p.m. Mincha service on Saturday, Sept. 10. Anne has five children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews and hundreds of friends. She is the last of 10 brothers and sisters. Anne will be honored at Congregation Ohev Sholom with dinner at 7 p.m., followed by Havdalah and dessert, on Sept. 10. Friends and family are invited to share her simcha.
Bob Horwitz, who turned 80 on Monday, Aug. 29, celebrated his birthday with a surprise dinner party given by his wife, Marcia, on Aug. 19. Celebrating with Bob were daughters, Sherri (Arnold) Hermanson and Kim Komet; son, Jeff Horwitz; grandchildren, Daniel and Nathan Hermanson and Gavriella and Sam Komet; sister, Rita (Gilbert) Kahn; aunt, Rose Rovick; cousins, Jim, Janis and Jody Rovick; and brother-in-law, Gary (Marie) Lerner.
