Stephanie and Donald Fehr of Rye Brook, N.Y., announce the engagement of their son, David Michael Fehr, to Kathryn Nicole Bartholomew, both currently living in Chicago. David was born in Kansas City, Mo., and raised in Rye Brook. Kathryn, the daughter of Nancy and David Bartholomew, was born and raised in Ft. Wayne and Granger, Ind.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Irene (Dolly) Gulko Fehr of Overland Park, the late Louis A. Fehr and the late Sylvia Ruth Eveloff Feldman.
The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Dorothy and Alfred Bartholomew of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and the late Janet and Wade Whitman of Hobart, Ind.
David Fehr and Kathryn Bartholomew met in Kansas City, Mo., where they each earned their Masters of Fine Arts degrees in Acting & Directing at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Kathryn and David are currently working with various theater companies in Chicago. Additionally, Kathryn works at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago in the legacies and endowments department. David also teaches Theatre, Writing, Literature and Speech/Debate at The Josephinum Academy in Chicago.
Kathryn and David will be married in March 2012 in Kansas City, Mo., at the Hilton President Hotel.
