Paul Flam is celebrating his 90th birthday. A Kiddush in his honor will follow morning services at Congregation Beth Shalom on Saturday, March 24. The community is invited to celebrate with Paul, his children, grandchildren and great-grandson.

Isak Federman will celebrate his 90th birthday on March 14 with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He will be honored at Shabbat services at Kehilath Israel Synagogue this Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Neuberger are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married on March 16, 1947, at the Bellerive Hotel on Armour Boulevard in a ceremony performed by Rabbi Harry Mayer. They are the proud parents of three children, Alan (Diane), Nancy and Linda; and grandparents of Emily and Jacob. They have resided their entire married life in Kansas City.

Andrew and Julia Jacob announce the birth Feb. 3 of a daughter, Leila Emilie. They are also the parents of Gavin Levy, and Crew Emerson. Grandparents are Jill Jacob,  Steve and Susan Jacob, and Mona and Randy Davis.  Great-Grandparents are Marian Ferguson and J.T. Cassidy.

Jeff Mann and Mara Barry announce the Bar Mitzvah of their son, Martin Alexander Mann on Saturday, March 3, at Temple Chai, Long Grove, Ill. Marty is the grandson of Milton Mann and the late Beverly Mann and the late Donald and Rochelle Kolen.

John and Arlene Rubenstein of Prairie Village announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Lynn Rubenstein to Maximilian Aron Kosoglad, son of Jerome and Cynthia Kosoglad of Highland Park, Ill.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Jack and Margaret Gersh of Overland Park and Richard Rubenstein and the late Jean Rubenstein of Kansas City, Mo. She attended the University of Miami, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and religious studies, and a master’s degree in social work from Washington University in St. Louis.

The future groom is the grandson of the late James and Rae Block of Kansas City, Mo., and Bernyce Kosoglad and the late Leonad Kosoglad of Highland Park. He attended Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and is currently employed at Block & Company Inc. Realtors in Kansas City, Mo., as a hospitality and retail specialist.

An Aug. 11 wedding in Kansas City, Mo., is planned.

Jessica and Aaron Kroll announce the birth Jan. 19 of a daughter, Madelyn Ava. They are also the parents of Isabella Grace. Grandparents are Marcia Karbank and Joe Smuckler, Leawood, and Patti Kroll, Overland Park. Great-grandmother is Rose Karbank, Overland Park.

Lisa Rose Bivens and Sam McClintock were married Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Flagstaff, Ariz.

The bride is the daughter of Sandy Price and Don Bivens and Trish Refo of Phoenix, and the granddaughter of Harold and Janet Price of Overland Park and Paul and Sandra Gale of Lee’s Summit.

The groom is the son of Richard and Kelley McClintock of Tucson, Ariz., and the grandson of Max and Sue Mayes of Tucson.

The bride is completing her master’s degree at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. The groom is a former Marine and is now attending Coconino Community College in Flagstaff.

The couple reside in Flagstaff.
