Dr. Mitchell and Lisa Hamburg of Leawood, Kansas, announce the engagement of their son, Daniel Hamburg, to Hannah Geller, daughter of Nora Kavner of Los Angeles, California, and Matthew and Janet Geller of Los Angeles, California.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Rose and David Kavner and the late Beatrice and Henry Geller. She earned a bachelor’s in literature from Yale University. She also earned a law degree from Columbia Law School and a master’s in social work from New York University. She is currently a clinical social worker at Bellevue Hospital.
The future groom is the grandson Alan Hamburg of Mission, Kansas, the late Natalie Hamburg, and the late Eleanor and Jerry Abrams. He earned a bachelor’s in philosophy and history from Northwestern University and a law degree from Columbia Law School. He is currently a staff attorney at The Bronx Defenders.
The wedding will take place Aug. 14, 2021, at the New York Botanical Garden.
