Linzi Michelle Oppenheimer and Jacob Austin Brown of Hurst, Texas, announce their engagement.
Linzi is the daughter of Carla and Scott Oppenheimer of Leawood, Kansas, and granddaughter of the late Judy Bell and Martin Bell; and Lynda and Fred Oppenheimer of Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and received her MSW from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Jacob is the son of Lisa and Jeff Brown of Vilonia, Arkansas, and grandson of Gail Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas; Barry and Colleen Brown of Springdale, Arkansas; and of Herbert Dicker and the late Patricia Dicker of Little Rock. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and is currently working towards his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at Texas A&M. He is currently a manufacturing engineer with Lockheed Martin.
They have a baby dog named Keeley and a shared love of escape room trivia.
The couple have planned a wedding on May 26, 2024, at Congregation Beth Shalom in Overland Park, Kansas.
