Sondra and Frank Friedman of Leawood, Kansas, announce the engagement of their son, Micah Friedman, to Morgan Quist, daughter of Bernadette and Eric Quist of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of George Quist and the late Joan Quist of Ann Arbor, and Betty Merva and the late George Merva of Denver, Colorado.
Morgan received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and her Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. She currently resides in Houston, Texas, and is a process evaluations engineer at Shell.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Elinor and Sherrill Friedman and Jim Wimer and the late Gloria Wimer of Tucson, Arizona.
Micah received his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Michigan and his Master of Business Administration at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois, and is an investment banking associate at William Blair.
A Nov. 5, 2022, wedding in Ann Arbor is planned.
