Lawrence and Cynthia Navran of Overland Park, Kansas, announce the engagement of their daughter Sarah Jessica Navran to Samuel Gabriel Kricsfeld, son of Dr. Alan and Debbie Kricsfeld of Omaha, Nebraska.
Sarah is the granddaughter of Martin (z”l) and Shirley Rich of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Roger Navran (z”l); and Roseanne Navran (z”l). She is the communications and events specialist at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and has a Bachelor of Science in entertainment business from Oklahoma City University.
Sam is the grandson of Jakob and Susan Besser; Richard and Cheryl Diamond; and Dr. Barry and Barbara Kricsfeld, all of Omaha. He is the editor and business manager of The Kansas City Jewish Chronicle and has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.
The couple, who live in Shawnee, Kansas, plan for a 2027 wedding.
