Caelyn Hodes, daughter of Dan and Jeannie Hodes, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, March 2, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Caelyn is a seventh-grade student at Prairie Star Middle School, where she plays violin in the school orchestra. She spends much of her free time playing premier club volleyball and looks forward to joining the school team next year. She enjoys trips to Sephora and Starbucks with friends and adores all dogs.
For her mitzvah project, she raised donations for and created a team to participate in the JDRF One Walk to support the important work toward a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
