Zoey Rose Goldstein, daughter of Erich and Halley Goldstein, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Zoey is the granddaughter of Suzy and Myron Goldstein; Marci and Mark Klein; and Debbie and Mike Saferstein. She has one sibling, Max.
A seventh grader at Leawood Middle School, Zoey enjoys playing volleyball, baking, going to the beach and spending time with friends. She participates in BBYO Connect and Kesher, and she attends Camp Sabra.
For her mitzvah project, Zoey is working to raise awareness of serious food allergies and helping to stock local food pantries with gluten-free food donations.
