Honora Osman, daughter of Dan and Lindsey Osman, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 25, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Honora is the granddaughter of Steve and Susan Osman, and Jill Quinn (z”L); and the older sister of Léonie Osman (9).
One of her activities is studying Taekwondo, which she has done since she was six years old. She is working towards her second-degree black belt and is a mentor at Jeong's Taekwondo Martial Arts. Honora competes in events such as sparring and poomsae. She has also competed as a member of the demo team, winning the Kansas State Championship in 2022, among other first-place finishes.
Honora also enjoys volleyball and wrestling, playing bass with her middle school orchestra, learning piano, creative writing at Word Shop OP, drawing and painting.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Kiddush lunch following the bat mitzvah service.
