Brooke Devyn Cardozo, daughter of Alan and Sheri Cardozo, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 4, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Brooke’s grandparents are Allen and Judy Cinnamon of Leawood, Kansas, and Max and Lenore Cardozo of Overland Park, Kansas. She has two siblings, Brayden and Rylie, who are students at the University of Kansas.
Brooke is a 7th grader at Harmony Middle School and is involved in school musicals and clubs. Outside of school, Brooke participates in competitive dance and plays volleyball. Brooke is a Kesher student and is active in BBYO Connect. She enjoys spending her summers at Camp Sabra and loves to hang out with her family and friends.
For her mitzvah project, Brooke is volunteering at Village Shalom, where she helps residents participate in activities.
