Julia Reese Goldstein, daughter of Tamara and Brian Goldstein, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Julia is the granddaughter of Martin and Irene Goldstein and Teri Joy Eisen and the late William Eisen. She has two sisters, Leah and Marisa.
Some of her activities include playing competitive soccer and participating in middle school track. She plays tennis in the summer and loves going to Camp Sabra at the Lake of the Ozarks.
For her mitzvah project, Julia organized and ran a neighborhood food drive to benefit the Jewish Family Services Food Pantry. She collected over 350 nonperishable items and delivered them to the food pantry to be distributed to needy families.
Relatives and friends are invited to worship with the family and to attend the kiddush luncheon following the service.
