Jacob Levi Palan, son of David and Amanda Palan, will become a bar mitzvah on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Jacob is the grandson of Robert and Barbara Palan of Overland Park, Kansas, and Tylar and Carol Ann Hecht of Annapolis, Maryland. He has a sister, Ariel (15).
Some of Jacob’s hobbies include playing tennis, soccer, and video games. He is a second degree black belt in taekwondo, and he enjoys hanging out with friends.
For his mitzvah project, Jacob is raising money for the Celiac Disease Foundation and collecting food for the Jewish Family Services food pantry.
