Maya Nancy Finkle, daughter of Drs. Johanna and David Finkle, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Maya’s grandparents are Linda and Brad Finkle, and she has two siblings, Sienna (10) and Alexander (7).
Hobbies and activities of Maya include competitive tennis, soccer, playing piano and playing cello in her school orchestra.
For her mitzvah project, Maya volunteered for KC for Refugees and organized and managed a hygiene kit drive at Leawood Middle School to benefit refugees in the Kansas City area.
