Tamara Falicov and Stephen Steigman announce the bar mitzvah of their son, Ilan Steigman, on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Congregation Beth Torah.
Ilan is the grandson of Rabbi Linda Steigman, William and Phyllis Steigman, Celia Falicov and Peter Gourevitch. He has two sisters: Avital (10) and Noa (9).
Ilan enjoys playing soccer with the BKS Hooligans, gaming, and exploring new cuisines in his travels with family.
For his mitzvah project, Ilan has volunteered his time with the JFS Food Pantry in Kansas City, Missouri. He encourages others to contribute to food security in the community.
The community is invited to celebrate with the family. A Kiddush luncheon will follow the service.
