Zachary and Lindsey Bassin are proud to announce the bar mitzvah of their son, Judah Michael Bassin, on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Judah is the grandson of Leonard and Leah Bassin and Michael and Jan Bell. He has two younger brothers: Asher (10) and Naphtali (4).
Judah is a seventh grader at Academie Lafayette Middle School where he participates in the school’s cross country and track programs. Additionally, he enjoys playing soccer for Sporting Missouri Valley, pole vaulting with Extreme Athletics, and is a member of Boy Scout Troop 50.
For his mitzvah project, Judah is partnering with Jewish Vocational Services to collect and organize housewares and other donated items which will support refugees recently resettled in the Kansas City area.
