Bruce and Lori Hertzfield announce the Bar Mitzvah of their son, Samuel Hertzfield, at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 24, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Samuel is the grandson of Norman and Clara Levine; the late Louis and Janice Katzberg; and the late Morris and Harriet Hertzfield. He has four siblings: Rachel, Louie, Melanie and Danny.
Family and friends are invited to worship with the family via Beth Shalom livestream.
Sammy enjoys playing baseball and basketball, is active in Scouts and is currently a life Scout. For his mitzvah project, he will be working on erosion in the Mitzvah Garden and has plans to build a shed to house electronics for the garden.
