Amy and Darren Goldstein will celebrate the Bar Mitzvah of their son, Jacob Ryder Goldstein, as he is called to the Torah at Congregation Shalom in Milwaukee at 10 a.m. on May 22, 2021.
Jake is the grandson of Suzy and Myron Goldstein and Barbara and Bruce Sherman of Des Moines. He has two siblings, Sam and Sadie.
Jake is in seventh grade at Whitefish Bay Middle School. He plays basketball for the Whitefish Bay Junior Dukes and is on the middle school tennis team. He also plays soccer and saxophone, and spends the summer at North Star Camp for Boys in Hayward, Wisconsin.
Jake’s Mitzvah Project will support “Camp For All Kids.” CFAK promotes and facilitates racial diversity by sending kids from underserved communities to six overnight summer camps, including North Star.
Max and Jake are cousins.
