Ezra Irvin and Noa Leah Maker, children of Shannon and Joshua Maker, will become b’nai mitzvah on Saturday, Apr. 18, at The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.
Ezra and Noa are the grandchildren of Jill and Eddie Ginsburg of Louisville, Kentucky, and Pauline and Larry Maker of Toronto, Ontario. They are the siblings of Asa (21), Eli (20) and Hannah (8).
Among Ezra’s hobbies are running, playing basketball, and enjoying the NBA and NFL. Noa enjoys all things theater, acting, singing and dancing. Both attend Camp Sabra during the summers and will be participating in the 2026 Maccabi Games in Kansas City.
For their mitzvah project, Ezra and Noa volunteered with Hearts to Hands KC, helping pack weekend “BackSNack” bags with foods provided by Harvesters for children who may not have enough to eat over the weekend.
