Max received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Southern California in philosophy and neuroscience and his master’s degree in bioethics from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). He is in his third year at CWRU School of Medicine.
Pooja received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from CWRU and is also a third-year medical student there.
The couple plan to marry in the spring of 2019 prior to graduation and the start of their residencies.
