The future groom is the grandson of the late Yetta and Emil Barsky and the late Lillian and Louis Corson. He earned an Associate of Arts degree in mass communications, journalism and speech from Garden City Community College; a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and communications and journalism from Washington University in St. Louis and a Juris Doctor, cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.  

Ethan was a member of the varsity baseball teams at Garden City Community College and Washington University in St. Louis. He is the executive director of the Kansas Democratic Party, headquartered in Topeka, Kansas.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ruth and Irving Brofsky, Anita Stone of Florida and New Jersey and the late Martin Stone. She graduated magna cum laude from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international and global studies and minors in economics and environmental studies. While at Brandeis, she was a class senator in the student government.

Jenna earned her Juris Doctor, Order of the Coif, from The George Washington University Law School. She was a member of The George Washington Law Review, a Pro Bono Honoree, and founded and led an alternative spring break trip for law students to the U.S.-Mexico border.  

She is currently employed as an attorney at Husch Blackwell LLP’s Kansas City office.

A Nov. 11 wedding at The Sephardic Temple in Cedarhurst, New York, is planned.
