Surrounded by family and friends, Rose Stolowy celebrated her 100th birthday at a morning reception in the Social Hall at Village Shalom. Family from around the world honored her with their presence. They came from Melborne; Jerusalem; both Northern and Southern California; Seattle; Las Vegas; Silver Spring, Md.; Ivoryton, Conn.; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Queens, N.Y.; St. Louis, Mo.; and Lawrence, Kan., to join local family and friends for the festivities.
