Mark and Ellie Mandelbaum of Overland Park, Kan., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mika Marie, to Louis Matthew Cohn, son of Hope Cohn and Brad and Amy Cohn of Overland Park.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Charles and Marie Rauh of Naples, Fla., Jack and Claudia Mandelbaum and the late Shirley Mandelbaum. She attended the University of Arizona, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and communication. She graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her MBA degree from the University of Kansas. She is currently employed as communications specialist at Garmin International, Inc., Olathe, Kan.
The future groom is the grandson of Robert Cohn of Sun Lake, Ariz., and the late Gloria Cohn, Corrine Gerson and the late Ed Gerson and Harry and Hedra Merson of Oklahoma City, Okla. He attended the University of Arizona, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He is currently employed as senior executive recruiter at The Howard Group, Overland Park.
A May 29 wedding at The InterContinental Kansas City is planned.
