The children and grandchildren of M. J. (Maynard) Rosenbloom announce that he will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah Sheni at Shabbat morning services at Congregation Ohev Sholom on Saturday, June 29. Services begin at 9:30 a.m. at Ohev, which is located at 75th & Nall, Prairie Village.
A Bar Mitzvah Sheni is a second coming of age 70 years after the first Bar Mitzvah took place at age 13.
The family asks that no presents or gifts of any kind be sent. Some have made contributions to The Children’s Place, 2 E. 59th Street, Kansas City, MO, 64113, which is a child advocacy organization whose purpose is healing of the youngest survivors of abuse, neglect or trauma.
