John and Lauren Hoopes announce the Bar Mitzvah of their son, Nathaniel Benjamin Franklin Hoopes, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Congregation Beth Torah. Nathaniel is the grandson of Beatrice Mattleman of Jenkintown, Pa., and the late Nathan Mattleman, Jack and Nancy Hoopes of Lake Lure, N.C., and Lucy Hoopes of Baltimore. Relatives and friends are invited to worship with the family and to attend the Kiddush following the service.
