Stewart and Esther Stein of Leawood announce the engagement of their son, Louis Stein, to Carly Brown, daughter of Arnie Brown and the late Sandee Brown of Buffalo Grove, Ill.
The future groom is the grandson of Mary Smith and the late Edward and Annette Stein and the late Leo and Shirley Polterock.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a degree in economics. He is currently employed as a fund accountant at State Street Corporation.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Adele Wolpin and the late David Wolpin and the late Harry and Ethel Brown. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing. She is currently employed as the program director of KU Hillel.
A June 17 wedding in Madison is planned.
