Congregation Beth Shalom recently announced its newly elected board of directors for 2023-2024.
“I have much appreciation and gratitude for each of our board members,” said Dr. Ann Karty, president of Congregation Beth Shalom. “[They] help our congregants, our families, and our children in many ways too numerous to list.”
Returning board members include Renana Abrams, Jeremy Antes, Aaron Berger, Sam Barrer, Mari Anne Birnbaum, Louis Cohn, Sam Deutch, Jill Goldstein, Bernice Haberman, Staci Kahn, Harold Kaseff, Randy Katcher, Neil Miller, Peter Newman, Dan Osman, Eric Poe, Julye Rose, Miles Ross, Heather Schlozman and Lisa Skolnick.
Dini Fried and Shira Wajcman are leaving the board.
New board members include Ilana Chilton, Lauren Azorsky Levy and Bruce Silverman.
The nominated officers are Dr. Ann Karty, president; Victor Wishna, executive vice president; Janna Rosenthal, vice president for engagement and programming; Eric Schultz, vice president for ritual; Mike Kolb, vice president for education; Adam Matsil, treasurer; Debbie Sosland-Edelman, secretary; and immediate past presidents Jason Krakow and Mike Silverman.
Committee chairs include Amy Schultz, ritual co-chair; Mari Anne Birnbaum, membership chair; Jeremy Antes, buildings and grounds chair; Staci Kahn, education chair; and Adam Miller, administration chair.
