Do you make Bubbe’s mouthwatering chicken soup every holiday? Maybe Aunt Sarah made a spectacular apple cake? Or you are the cook in the family and your blintz casserole is a Break-the-Fast staple.
Whatever your holiday favorites are, The Chronicle would like to publish the tried and true recipes we eat as we celebrate Rosh Hashanah, Break the Fast and see the stars in the sukkah. If you have a recipe you’d like to share with the community, please email it to or mail it (typed please) to Kansas City Jewish Chronicle, 10650 Roe Ave., Suite 141, Overland Park, KS 66207. If you also have a photo of the finished product, or would consider allowing a photographer (wearing a mask) to take a photo of your delicacy, please include that information as well as a phone number where you can be contacted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are looking for recipes from balabustas as well as from males who rock in the kitchen. Recipes must be received by Monday, Aug. 3, for consideration.
