Would you like to celebrate a restful Shabbat without the meal preparation this summer? Kosher Shabbat curbside “Meals-to-Go” will be available for purchase from June 19-July 24. Meals will be prepared on a weekly rotating basis by kosher caterers Kim Matsil, Cathy Levin of Kosher Connection and Steve Ellenberg, under supervision of the Vaad HaKashruth of Kansas City.
Weekly meals can be purchased in quantities to serve one individual, two individuals or a family of four and will consist of your choice of two entrees each week along with a starch, vegetable, salad, dessert and knot rolls. All food items will be packaged in contain-ers suitable for warming in the oven or transfer microwaveable items to a microwave safe container before heating. Simple and clear heating instructions will be included.
Online orders must be received by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday the week you are ordering. A list of weekly menus and pricing can be found on the order page. Orders and payment will be accepted online and by credit card only at rabbiskc.regfox.com/shabbat-meals.
Curbside meal picked up will take place on Fridays of the week you are ordering between noon and 1 p.m. at the Jewish Community Campus White Theatre circle drive. Remain in your car and display your email order confirmation; a runner will place food in your cars.
