Kosher for Passover seder ‘Meals-to-Go’

Due to the short window of time there is to provide the option of having prepared Passover meals to go available for the community this year, and in order to eliminate printing and mailing of order forms, the Rabbinical Association is going to an online only ordering system this year.

Forms can be accessed at kcrabbi.org. Orders must be placed by Tuesday, March 31. Payments will be accepted online by credit card only.

Note that the online service provider automatically assesses a credit card service fee and the Rabbinical Association cannot avoid this additional charge.

Items will be packed in containers suitable for warming in the oven; transfer microwaveable items to a microwave safe container before heating. Simple and clear heating instructions are included.

For questions or to inquire about confidential financial assistance, contact Annette Fish, administrator/program director, Rabbinical Association, by email at   or call 913-327-4622.

Food must be picked up on either Tuesday, April 7 or Wednesday, April 8, at Congregation  Beth Shalom, 14200 Lamar.

• Use kitchen entrance (located at the very end of the driveway, past the bricked-in storage for the trash container; most northern area of the parking lot.

• When ordering, select a one-hour time frame for pick up.

• A runner will place the food in your car. Entry into the building will not be allowed.

• Remain in your car and display your confirmation order ticket.

Meals are prepared by Kosher Connection under supervision of the Vaad HaKashruth of Kansas City.

Sponsored by the Rabbinical Association of Greater Kansas City and funded in part by the Flo Harris Foundation of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Kansas City and supported by congregations.
