The J Indoor Triathlon
A youth division, ages 10-14, has been added to the Indoor Triathlon this year. Participants in the adult division must be at least 14. The Indoor Tri is an inclusive event geared for beginners and experienced athletes alike. Registration must be completed by Feb. 14. If registered by Feb. 8, participants will receive a triathlon T-shirt. JFS and Tribe KC will team up for the fifth annual Trivia Bash to raise funds for JFS’ community programs. Today is the deadline for the Allen and Janet Agron Camp Ramah Scholarship Fund of the Jewish Community Foundation, intended to help students attending Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. Scholarships of up to $1,000 for four-week camp sessions and scholarships of up to $2,000 for eight-week camp sessions are available. JFS Grief Support Group
The Grief and Loss Support Group meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Jewish Community Campus. The group provides the opportunity to address issues of loss and grief within a Jewish spiritual context. The Rabbinical Association of Greater Kansas City co-sponsors the group with Jewish Family Services and is the only Jewish-based grief support in the area. The group is co-facilitated by Rabbi Mark Levin and JFS therapist Lauren Glass. It is open to all faith backgrounds. NAMI Family-to-Family Course
A free 12-week course for families with loved ones struggling with mental health issues. Participants must commit to the 12-week course. Led by facilitators trained by the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the course provides caregivers with communication and problem-solving techniques, coping mechanisms and self-care skills. Mitzvah Meals

The Jewish Community Foundation holds its annual youth philanthropy fair, the B’nai Tzedek Shuk, this evening.
